We went camping at the North Rim Grand Canyon this past week. The natural environment is quite breathtaking, absolutely beautiful. I tried to do one sketch of the North Rim but it was going to take me more than 30 mins of standing on the side of the trail with a lot of people passing. I sketched the trees a lot. They are absolutely beautiful and majestically tall. I loved their bark and the way they smelled. There were so many pine cones on the ground and sap from the trees blowing in the wind. It was quite nice to place your hammock among the trees and take in the beauty.
